Content LA
Client: C21Media
Event: Industry Conference
Role: Head of Events
Event Overview:
Content LA is a two-day industry conference produced by C21Media, spotlighting the latest in scripted and unscripted programming, FAST channels, and global content sales and coproduction. Designed to engage key players in the international television market, the event features a curated mix of keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking.
My Role:
As Head of Events at C21Media, I led the launch of Content LA as a one-day conference, hosted at the stylish London Hotel in West Hollywood. Strategically timed to run alongside the LA Screenings and positioned as the sister event to Content London, the aim was to attract over 500 delegates and an impressive roster of industry speakers.
Working in close collaboration with C21’s editorial and production teams, I managed the end-to-end delivery — from concept and venue sourcing through to onsite execution. The day concluded with a cocktail reception, providing space for high-level networking in an informal setting.
End Result:
The inaugural event exceeded expectations, prompting a significant expansion the following year. Delegate numbers doubled, the programme extended to two full days, and the event moved to the historic Ebell of Los Angeles to accommodate growing demand. I continued to lead on all planning and delivery for the relocation and evolution of the event.
