Content London
Client: C21Media
Event: Global Entertainment development Market & Summit
Role: Head of Events
Event Overview:
Content London is an award-winning, multi-strand development market and summit that unites over 3,000 leading TV executives, creatives, and premium brand partners from across the global entertainment landscape. Held annually in King’s Cross, London, the event spans four days and five venues — including Kings Place, the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel and The Standard Hotel — featuring a dynamic mix of keynote sessions, screenings, networking events, premieres, VIP dinners, creative workshops and awards.
My Role:
I played a pivotal role in evolving Content London from a one-day conference launched in 2013 into the flagship four-day international summit it is today.
Over my five-year tenure, I led the event’s strategic and operational development — including multi-venue expansion, year-on-year relocations, and scale-up planning to accommodate significant growth. I was also responsible for overseeing client, sponsor and talent communications, stakeholder management, and was the driving force behind the launch of the inaugural Content London App, enhancing delegate engagement and on-site experience.
End Result:
Now regarded as one of the must-attend events in the television industry calendar, Content London continues to grow in both scale and prestige. Celebrated for its exceptional programming and speaker line-up, the event has earned multiple accolades including:
Best Conference by a Small Company – 2018
Best Event Linked to a Publication – 2018
Best Congress or Convention – 2019
Originally hosted at BAFTA, Content London’s journey has included prominent venues such as the BFI and Picturehouse Central, before settling into its current multi-venue format in King’s Cross.
