Fremantle Rebrand Launch at MIPCOM, Cannes

Client: Fremantle
Event: Fremantle Rebrand launch
Role: VP of Events

Brief:

To bring the launch of Fremantle’s refreshed brand identity to life through a full redesign and build of its flagship 600sqm beachside stand at MIPCOM 2018 — showcasing the company’s globally loved content and reflecting the bold new brand direction.

My Role:

As Project Lead, I oversaw the redesign, build, and on-site delivery of the stand, ensuring the new brand was seamlessly integrated across all physical and experiential touchpoints. The space included 22 sales offices, a reception hub, restaurant and bar, private meeting areas, and a 100sqm branded beach — serving as the operational and networking HQ for 120 Fremantle execs across MIPCOM and MIPTV.

I also led on full logistics and hospitality planning for all attending staff.

End Result:

In partnership with Fremantle’s in-house creative team and a specialist brand experience agency, we delivered a striking, multifunctional space that embodied the new brand and enhanced Fremantle’s market presence. A key feature was the transformation of the outdoor terrace into an enclosed, weatherproof venue — increasing usability without compromising on style. The rebrand launch was delivered on time, on budget, and received strong feedback from global partners and industry press.
