The Brief:
To create an exclusive, high-profile event that not only generated excitement around the Hans Zimmer – Hollywood Rebel documentary but also promoted its sales to international TV buyers, while strengthening the partnership between BBC Studios and the legendary composer.
My Role:
Held at BBC Studios' brand-new venue, Le Studio, during MIPCOM 2022 in Cannes, I led the production of an intimate VIP evening that celebrated the music and life of one of cinema’s most influential composers.
The event, strictly invitation-only, catered to top industry executives, buyers, and VIPs. We curated an unforgettable experience starting with elegant cocktails and canapés, followed by a bespoke performance featuring professional musicians from Hans Zimmer’s world tour, culminating in a one-off rendition of ‘TIME’ with Hans Zimmer himself on guitar.
End Result:
Despite budget constraints and the logistical challenges posed by the venue’s space and specific instrument requirements, we delivered a truly exceptional evening with impeccable production quality.
The event not only forged a deeper partnership with Hans Zimmer but also led to international sales of the documentary, providing guests with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
