International launch of ‘Jamie Cooks Italy’

Brief:

To design and deliver an exclusive brand-led experience that amplified the Jamie Oliver brand and promoted international sales of Jamie Cooks Italy, hosted during MIPCOM by The Jamie Oliver Group and Fremantle.

My Role:

I led the creative and logistical delivery of this intimate invitation-only launch event. The concept featured an intimate presentation and Q&A with Jamie Oliver and Gennaro Contaldo, followed by a family-style feast inspired by the series — recreating the warmth of a traditional Italian Nonna’s kitchen.

We secured a full takeover of a French restaurant just outside Cannes, reworking both its layout and kitchen facilities. Under the guidance of Jamie Oliver’s lead chef, the venue’s staff prepared signature dishes from the show. Guests — 100 top international buyers — were hosted at long communal tables, where Jamie and Gennaro moved from table to table, offering face-to-face engagement and personal connection.

End Result:

A truly immersive brand experience that stayed faithful to the spirit of the series. The event was credited by Jamie Oliver as “a true representation of the brand” and contributed directly to increased international sales, while further solidifying Fremantle’s ongoing partnership with The Jamie Oliver Group.
