Outside the Box 2020-2024
Event Overview:
Outside the Box (OTB) is a biannual TV industry conference hosted by Everyone TV, designed to spark discussions on key issues shaping the future of British television and influence policymakers. With a high-profile speaker lineup, the event attracts an audience of over 300 delegates, including industry analysts, retail partners, broadcasters, DCMS, Ofcom, national journalists, parliamentarians, and trade associations.
The conference has evolved over time, with Outside the Box 2021-2024 now a fully hybrid event series hosted at prestigious locations such as Picturehouse Central and Tate Modern in London. The Outside the Box 2021, Spring Edition was a virtual event, while Outside the Box 2020 was a combination of virtual and studio-based sessions. This shift to a hybrid format has enhanced the event’s accessibility and reach, while maintaining high production standards and broadcast-quality content.
My Role:
As Events Consultant, I have been leading the event management and production for Outside the Box since 2020. I played a pivotal role in adapting the event format during the pandemic, successfully transitioning OTB into a digital space. Over the years, I’ve contributed to growing the OTB brand into a must-attend industry event.
Outside the Box has grown in size and has become an established industry event, attracting 400+ delegates.
End Result:
Since its transition to a hybrid format, Outside the Box has evolved into a flagship industry event, allowing the conference to reach a global audience, and providing accessibility to delegates who previously couldn’t attend. As a result, Outside the Box has not only maintained its relevance but grown its influence, attracting even more high-level attendees and securing its place as a key forum for shaping the future of British television.
